Schwerer Gustav – The Largest Gun in the World ⚙️🔥

The Schwerer Gustav was a gigantic railway gun developed by Nazi Germany during World War II. With a caliber of 80 cm, a length of 47 meters, and a weight of 1,350 tons, it was the largest artillery piece ever built. Its shells weighed up to 7 tons and had a range of up to 47 kilometers. The gun was used in the Siege of Sevastopol in 1942 but proved impractical and was later abandoned.

And every piece was a mechanical custom made piece. Not one microchip involved. Absolutely AMAZING! And the time it took them to build it! The Germans were the definition of brains over brawn

Imagine if they put this kind of thought and insight into finding a way to better humanity, what kind of things they could have contributed. Instead of trying to kill each other

This shows the great level of the German geometry and engineering that focused on quality . On the contrary, the Russians focused on the practicality and quantity and they won the war at the end

For those that say it was a waste, may be right.
But lets consider this...
Every target it was aimed at, it destroyed. Yes it took a lot of men and time to set up, but it also saved a lot of men and materials that wouldve been lost assaulting these targets. Was it overkill? Perhaps. How many men and how many resources were dedicated to the Manhattan project? Its all about perspective.

I have been to many countries, and I can confidently say that Germans were very disciplined and hard working nation. There is no nation that can come closer to Germans. They are so efficient, and rules are everything for them.

The music beating slow like a dying heart with the view of this awsome weapon is scary but also fitting. WOW.
