I just got into canny valley I can only level up my guns to 77 and then it says to finish storm defense 6 which will take me to twine peak but you have 106s and is not in twine peak how did you get 106s?

I don't get it once I level my gun up the upgrade doesn't come up only when it has to be max level and it doesn't say anything like modify perks or anything like that or increase raity I don't get this
