Cool tutorial, it's really cool how many interesting sounds you can make using just your voice and Audacity!

SFXR is also a really good option, usually for retro games. It's a sound generator, so it can make sounds without having to record your voice. Sometimes, it works better, especially if the noise is, say, a simple impact sound. It's not perfect, but it's pretty cool too.

At first, I wanted to make sound effects for my game by simply playing the sounds of instruments and I absolutely didn't think to use audiacity to record my voice and edit it! Thank you!

Yeah, it's possible to make loads of sounds with Audacity. For example, I made a lever sound effect using a Rubik's cube. Great tutorial though!
