I like it with or without glass. Glass does keep it dust free and keeps the colour pure.

I love this butterfly. It looks like you could use the board that comes with a basic frame. Using wall putty is genius. Mod Podge is thinner as it is used to layer. You are right about gold, everyone and everything goes good with gold, , , lol.
Once again, you have outdone yourself.

3D Beautiful Butterfly encased in A Lovely Frame!!! Your Juxtaposition of the Soft Coloured Butterfly in a slightly roughfend backdrop gives A Lovely Touch to Artwork! Also Love how You dabbled the Butterfly with just right/ sort of minimalistic Gold Edgings which when catches the Light, Truly Shines! I Loved this Art Project!!!
