Crying just from the trailer and can’t wait to see this movie. I worked at an academic library in a rural area and had students research Emmett Till to demonstrate research techniques. I couldn’t believe how few of them had heard what happened to this poor kid prior to my working with them. I hope they all remember that lesson, not only for the research aspect, but on the humanity aspect.

I saw the movie today. A moving, very emotional movie. It grabs your heart. It's shocking people had so much hate inside them. Having read many books on this subject, it's quite historical accurate. The woman playing Emmitt Tills mother, (Danielle Deadwyler), gave an outstanding Oscar-winning performance. It's a movie, every American should see.
