Earth Board Game Review - “Did This Kill Wingspan?”

We are not reaching by comparing Earth and Wingspan. They clearly share a lot of the same DNA. But are we reaching by asking if Earth takes Wingspan’s place as the industry standard for Naturey Tableau-Builders?

Also no! At least we don’t think so. Let us know what you think.

Great review. I love wingspan (among other good nature games such as meadow, Canopy, etc.), but I have Earth pre-ordered and looking forward to playing it. I think it will be great. BTW, I love the comment about the Canadian geese, I live in Michigan also and know what you mean lol.

Thanks for your review. I’m looking for a board game that will support more players yet I can play solo. This may meet the criteria. When do we meet as a game group, it’s grown in size and we usually have more than 4 players. I’ve only played Wing Span on BGA. Enjoyed it but didn’t say, I need to buy this now. I felt it was a bit to solitaire with more than one player. This looks like such a great engine building, creative and strategic game.

Great review! I want to play this one now, as it may have that bit of a strategic edge that pushes it beyond wingspan for me at least. I'll probably order this for my brother-in-law for his birthday based on your review.

Fine review, just lose the silly title. “Does this kill X?” is very tired and played out.

Here's the challenge. I have Wingspan already and have gone deep into it. Is Earth good enough to make me forego all that? This didn't differentiate enough to look away from Wingspan.
