God in the Dock Part 1

God in the Dock is a collection of previously unpublished essays and speeches from C. S. Lewis, collected from many sources after his death. Its title implies "God on Trial" and the title is based on an analogy made by Lewis suggesting that modern human beings, rather than seeing themselves as standing before God in judgement, prefer to place God on trial while acting as his judge.

The collection covers a wide range of topics but focuses primarily on Lewis' view of Christianity. The book is split into three sections, the first of which contains essays such as "Myth Became Fact", "The Grand Miracle", and "Is Theism Important?". These articles lay the groundwork for Lewis' apologetics, essentially establishing a starting point at which the true discrepancies between Christians and non-Christians become clear.

Wow that's amazing Lewis again made a statement at about 3:35:00 to 3:45:00 minute mark in this book ( I'm listening not reading) that a teacher without a solid foundation in Christ will blindly continue to teach most anything that goes against God or any spiritual aspects of life. This is happening at an alarming rate. it started in the 60s by taking prayer out of our schools and continued it's on going evil by allowing abortion, which praise God has been overturned at least temporarily. Then add not standing and saying the pledge of allegiance, which sadly they have taken the line One nation under God out of our pledge. I honestly think that making an idol of our flag or taking our patriotism above God needs to taught to our children. We AMERICANS live in the greatest civilization ever, though it only works if God is at the HELM. Sadly our leaders, godless and greedy, have been chipping away at our doctrine for a very long time. Our freedom came at great, ultimate sacrifice for many and presently it's being spit on by our youth, being taught at our universities . Ungodliness runs rapid in the professor's at these places of so called higher education. It turns out to be a place of Marxist indoctrination and though we are a free country any teacher who explicitly teaches our kids to hate others and hate the very freedoms that make these institutions possible should not be allowed to teach in the good ole USA. I think it's treason, though not at military level. It puts negative streams of thought into minds of young people who are still very influenced by such teaching. Our foundation needs to be taught as early as possible in our children and there are only two foundation the biblical or the worldly .we are presently seeing our world collapsing by following the latter. No God no people ‼️, to follow the ways of the world to it's conclusion is going to be our demise. I mean come on just look at how incredibly detestable people have become. There are without hope, confused about just about everything and gender dysphoria is at the top of that list. I love people, all people, and want to see them in eternity. But God being a just God wants our hearts bent towards Him. We may see people in heaven that will surprise us and some we thought would be there even more surprising. Jesus Christ clearly states if we love Him we should and want to obey Him. This Truth is what frightens many, to MANY. Jesus also states that his burden is light and in Him we will have peace and rest for our souls. I pray for a worldwide revival in the heart of everyone and only the power of prayer and the holy Spirit can make this happen, so pray and continue to pray all day everyday in every moment . Amazing how lewis hits the core of the preachers today . They twist the meaning of scripture to whatever need they have, many drawing people to their churches not to Christ. There is one preacher who literally was waiting for his father who was a preacher to pass before he fell from grace in a rather disturbing manner ‼️✝️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

C.S. Lewis was far too intelligent to be an agnostic (or atheist). Denial of what is evident is the mark of pride and foolishness, but sadly most people hurry through life and avoid challenging thought processes as though the Truth is a bane and not freedom, wisdom, and understanding.
