Its so awesome to see pure, clean art like this. Nobody is hurt, nobody has reason to be offended, and its a positive way to express yourself- people need to stop doing drugs and drinking and start doing more of this- dancing, making music, and creating art.

They really seem to be having a great time, and are clearly proud of thier style. Its awesome to see into their cultural expression. This world overflows with beautiful people, and we are so blessed to be able to have the means to experience it so freely. I'm so glad they shared this with the rest of us. I'm sure there is so much more to it than what we see here, but thanks for the peek NYC.

I live in Brooklyn not Harlem but I remember when this dance got popular in the late 90's-2000's. Everyone was doing this in the clubs, it was fun to see. I was disappointed when I saw this "new Harlem shake". it looked nothing like the original, some of the videos were funny but I just didn't get why they had to use the name Harlem shake.

To all those none believers Yes this is the original Harlem Shake. It was created in Harlem back in the 80's. P Diddy helped make it popular all over America in the 90's when he had it on some of his videos.
This new thing they are calling the Harlem Shake has nothing to do with Harlem. It might as well be called the "random people acting crazy shake".
