Dedicated to Ikuko Itoh's amazing anime series. Therefore, I OWN NOTHING. Seriously. One time I didn't disclaim, and some guys in white suits w/red stripes came with flamethrowers and burned everything in my house. Now all I have to my name... is this laptop.
Wow, I gotta lay off the sugar, since I've actually dreamt of that happening... Anyway, this AMV is another thing that just sort of...happened. Enjoy!

It felt so wrong when Princess Tutu ended up staying a duck in the end, what about the thing Adol said about destiny? Defy it and you'll be granted glory, right? But the only thing that happened was that everyone else was happy, her friends forgot about her, and she tricked herself into accepting that she's only a duck and that that's how it was meant to be. At the end she's basically Fakirs pet, he can't communicate with her anymore (besides dancing ig lol) despite everything they went through together, I was hoping that she'd at least stay human so she could talk to her friends, even if she never saw Miuto again.

I literally cried every night for a week because... Ahiru was treated very unfairly. Yes, I like Ru, but she got everything, and Ahiru... remained a duck... well, at least Fakir stayed with her

Still wish there was a 3rd season. I like the ending, I get the significance of the ending, but Duck deserved to stay human, dangit!

I recently re-watched this show this weekend. I finished it on Saturday. I forgot how much I always cry at the end. I forgot how much I love it. The nostalgia buried deep in the show from when I was young resurfaced and made re-watching it all the more amazing and lovely.

It’s been so long since I saw this show, but I still remember everything about it. It’s still one of my favorites, it’s just so tragic. And this video captures it really well, I remember watching this video years ago, and I still love it.

I remember watching this years ago when I was in elementary school, thinking it’s a happy anime with light story. Oh how wrong I was. This anime was too much for my young self but I already watched too much it was impossible to stop. And that ending 😭
