Famous inventions made by Mormons😱

Chances are, you've probably used a product whose beginnings were invented by a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (otherwise known as a Mormon). If you haven't watch the video, just take a guess :)

In this video we talk about a few of the more well-known inventions that came to be from members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Some of the inventions might surprise you! We talk about the invention of the TV by Philo Farnsworth who was a member of the Church, among other inventors.

John Moses Browning:
Latter-Day Saint in Utah who invented the first reliable auto-loading pistol by creating the telescoping bolt design, which is found in nearly every modern semi auto pistol, as well as several modern fully auto weapons. He developed the first gas operated firearm as well, the Colt-Browining Model 1895 machine gun.
The 1911 pistol was his most popular invention, which was used as the official handgun for the US during WWI, WWII, Vietnam, Korean War, and Desert Storm.

The Browning Hi Power is a single-action, semi-automatic handgun available in the 9mm and .40 S&W calibers. It was designed by American firearms inventor and Latter-day Saint John Moses Browning, and completed by Dieudonné Saive at Fabrique Nationale (FN) of Herstal, Belgium. Browning died in 1926, several years before the design was finalized. The Hi-Power is one of the most widely used military pistols in history, having been used by the armed forces of over 50 countries. (And the evil warlord used one to threaten Lois Lane (and kill Jimmy Olsen)). After 82 years of continuous production, the Hi-Power was discontinued in 2017 by Browning Arms, but it remains in production under differnt licenses and is still widely used by military and police all over the world. It's an astounding pistol. Browning also designed the popular 1911 Colt .45 Automatic but died before it could be completed. Many knowledgeable people believe the Hi-Power was a superior design than the 1911. Browning was a fascinating man and an entire video could be made about him and his remarkable designs.

I swear I love you guys I genuinely appreciate all the work LDS do I believe the book of Mormon is the companion of the bible I think they are for each other I agree with a whole lotta stuff that is taught...the only thing I can't get past I'd the coffee situation I do not know where the bible or even the book of Mormon says it is a sin against god in anyway I do agree about your health code book you have the words of wisdom I do believe it is called very applicable and I agree that over consumption of coffee is bad for you but a small cup of coffee a day or at least once a week or maybe stretch it out a little farther than that is beneficial for your health it helps children with ADHD to level out it helps old people to have a couple ounces or so of coffee to keep they're minds sharp..I smoke too but I can agree that not a single puff of tobacco is good for you....I just can't get past the coffee thing...haha but you guys are great love your show
