Humble Weekly Sale Spotlight: Teleglitch: Die More Edition!

Northernlion introduced me to Teleglitch: Die More Edition back when he first featured it and I've been addicted ever since. It seems impossible when you start, just like a lot of roguelikes, but soon you get into the groove of things and go further and further into the facility. And on every level, you wonder "how the hell could anyone survive this?" 

Then you try again, and a few more times after that, preparing better every time. And then you get to the final boss and you wonder, "how in the holiest of fucks am I going to deal with this?" but then you figure it out.

And then you beat the game, and you feel like THE ULTIMATE BADASS.

And then you start another run because the gameplay is amazing.

Teleglitch is the greatest.  It's also still receiving support; a significant update was just released.

This game is a gem! Just completed it for the first time! it was awesome! And don't forget the new arena mode!

I'm surprised you didn't talk about the graphical upgrades! Between your Let's Look At episode and the version you showed in this video, the resolution options have improved dramatically, not to mention the significant lighting changes that subsequent patches have added.

NL the great demolisher has infinite bombs and still wonders how he got them whilst his poor nail gun will remain empty for the rest of his life.

it took me about a minute to figure out why they did the camera so differently.  as you move around the black "walls" function as your viewing area as the character.  i think it adds suspense to the way the game is played, because if the character doesn't know what's through the door before opening it, you don't either.  despite having a top down view.  nicely done.

By the way, you can sort your inventory by holding a certain button and scrolling. So you could put all your weapons at the top for example. Also, you fucked up your crafting because the clicking confirms it.. You still have to scroll to what you want to craft.

would really love a series of this northernlion if that would even be possible considering the length of each run... also hate it when people tell you how you should be playing but just wondered if you knew (ive found) that most things you have to craft involve a 500lb explosive hence why you couldnt craft much when u looked. just a thought

First game I started recording. After about 50 hours played and having finished the game upwards 10 times it starts growing a little too repetitive as the loot within each level is always the same, just in different places.
Still, great game and lots of great memories.

Teleglitch: Die More Edition sounds like one of the fan made names for the current state of BF4.
