Underwater Explorers reaches 50K participants! | #shorts

This summer the Aquarium shellebrated a fintastic milestone! 🤿🎉

Our Underwater Explorers and Days of Discovery programs recently reached a total of 50,000 participants!

Since 2002, these summer programs have given kids an up-close-and-personal surface scuba experience in our Great Tide Pool, inspiring them to connect with marine life and become future ocean leaders!

Glad to see kids doing this instead of being stuck on their phones or video games. I remember wanting to be a marine biologist when I was young but I got into trouble and a change of plans. 60 years old and happily blessed, but I still think of what could have been.
