Le phénomène Phillip Phillips débarque en France avec son album « The World from the Side of the Moon ».

Grand gagnant de la saison 2012 de « American Idol », équivalent américain de notre Nouvelle Star, Phillip Phillips s'est démarqué par des reprises envoûtantes de Damien Rice, Maroon Five ou encore Usher grâce à sa voix rauque et soul.

Un véritable engouement s'est formé autour de lui grâce à sa chanson « Home » et son album s'est classé directement en 2ème position des téléchargements ITunes US dès sa sortie. A seulement 22 ans, les plus grands magazines musique tels que « Rolling Stone » le compare à des artistes comme Jason Mraz ou Ed Sheeran.

Il vient maintenant montrer à la France son talent et c'est avec 3èmeGauche qu'il a choisi de jouer son titre « Home » pour une session acoustique tout en douceur.

This version far surpasses the studio version, which is played on the radio. While I like that version, this more stripped down version of the song seems so much more soulful.
