Star powers are supposed to add a new ability. Now that there brawler specific gears, supercell should make some of the simple star powers like the ones that increases hp, or makes reload speed faster into mythic gears.

I think that the squeak gear should be an epic one for assassins, kinda like that one gear that decreases knockbacks that got substituted by the vision gear

I really like these my favourites are Gus, Spike and Ruffs.

Im always opposed to ones like Max’s and Bibi’s where you lose something for something else, because if you don’t like it you might have to pay 1000 coins just to take it off to change gear (unless supercell add an un-equip button)

But thats just me being nit-picky, all of them are great!!

This is really interesting and all these concepts are great. Here's something i have thought about, none of the gears have introduced new mechanics to a brawler, or even changed them, they've only improved them. Personally i think that might be a way to make a clear difference betweena mythic gear and just a second star power. For example Spike's curveball makes it's spikes curve, introducing a new mechanic, while Gene's mythic gear just makes his already existing mechanic, the pull, have a longer range.

Not gonna lie some of them sounds really OP, some good and some fitting! I would Love My boy Bruce finally get closer to others! (Still prefer spawners are enough good to stand on their own without relying too much on spawners) and Bulls sounds interesting! Leons sounds... a bit broken for brawlers with low damage lol and i like colettes gear idea for damage! And Ruffs and Ash gears sounds quite strong not gonna lie.. all the others sound good!

For Tara's Blacker Hole, I would make it so that enemy brawlers hit will have their vision reduced

My ideas, please notice me :3

Shelly: shells from the super shelly do not disappear when the wall is destroyed

Barley: Projectiles from super land 30% faster

Poco: Poco deals 20% bonus healing

Rosa: Super speeds up Rosa by 10%

Dinomike: super explodes when it contact with the enemy

Darryl: super 20% longer

Carl: super duratoin 1 second longer

Gus: The repulsion radius of the super is 30% biggest

Emz: enemys in the super zone take 10% more damage

Stu: Super charged automatically ( 5 seconds)

Piper: Super gets one bonus grenade

Frank: Attack speed is 30% faster

Bea: Super is aimed at the enemy automatically

Gale: super speed is 40% slower

Sam: super starts to slowly get attracted to Sam if he's nearby

Mandy: Super starts 20% faster

Hank: The bubble inflates 20% faster

Byron: teammates with the healing effect receive 10% less damage

Squeak: Attacks detonate 10% faster

Lily: Super flies through walls

I like the idea that gears can be trade offs or only activate for a certain portion of the game. For example, Meg’s mythic gear could be that her super swing (in mecha form) now sends an air cutter with the same range as her main attack, but the swing deals half damage. Another idea could be that Crow’s healing reduction would be increased to 70%. This would be really good against healers but not against any other brawlers, so this gear will not outshine all the other gears all the time.

Most of these suggestions sound either so good that might as well be SP/part of the main kit while others are too situationa or gimmicky, making the alternative gadgets clearly the better choice

i like the idea of these being useful, but not strong on their own

I especially like ones like Bibi’s where you have a trade-off to better customise a brawlers kit based on your opponents - specifically useful for Power League after the drafting phase

for mortis gear I would just make him be able to get 10% of his ammo back when dashing through the air like not hitting an enemy

Nerf idea for the reload speed gear:

The gear starts off giving you 0% extra reload speed but it ramps up the longer you stay alive, if you go 1 minute without dying it'd be at full effect giving you 20% extra reload speed


This should fix the current problem of being better than every other gear and being too versatile, with this it'd be useful on modes like knock out, gem grab and bounty but not so much in modes like brawl ball

I can't help but feel like gears aren't meant to increase brawler complexity at all. Looking at the gears pre-rework, and the new gears now, all that they provide are set stat boosts like health, speed and reload. You could make a case for speed and damage gears, but those are also exceedingly simple. The boost to Bo's mine radius, reduction to eve's hatchling decay, ash's rage decreasing slower, etc- all are great ideas for strengthening a brawler without giving players another aspect to fit into their gameplay. However, gear ideas like rico's burning super and sprout's toxic walls go against how I (personally) feel like gears are meant to work. They're simply meant to make a brawler stronger, while the star powers and gadgets allow for more complex and fulfilling gameplay.
These are all super cool ideas, but I feel like they're more in the realm of star powers than gears.

I think they’re all a bit weak, considering there is the reload gear that boosts overall damage output by 20% or the damage gear which does the same but under 50% health

10:15 i thought for leon's gear to be like this: -2/3 tile detection radius in his super (This will help him deal max damage to opponants)
Other than that, his gear is just a lil bit bad.. since the ennemy's attack would just end mid way throught
