2024 Elections | Zuma's MK party pledge amounts to gross ill-discipline: ANC KZN

The ANC in KwaZulu-Natal says its former president Jacob Zuma has shown what it calls gross ill-discipline.
The criticism comes after Zuma said he won't campaign for the ANC ahead of next year's general election.
Zuma told supporters in Soweto at the weekend that he also won't vote for the ANC.
The former ANC president announced that he'll support the newly-registered uMkhonto WeSizwe party.
Zuma also slammed the current ANC leadership, accusing it of abandoning the masses.

Leaving the ANC is the best thing for Zuma's political career (at his age he should maybe rather have retired). It also says a lot about the poor performance of the ANC that even Zuma does not want to be with them anymore. For the ANC to say they will still be happy with Zuma returning to the ANC shows weakness.

ANC is finished without Zuma, ever since Zuma left ANC has lost many municipalities and come next it will be a disaster for Ramaphosa ANC especially KZN and Gauteng which are very important provinces in the ANC. Ramaphosa failed dismally to unite the ANC with its alliance partners.
