Praying for you, Bridgette and the medical personnel on your case. I know someone who had kidney cancer. They used cryotherapy to freeze the cancer in 2010. They watched it and discovered it came back so they removed that kidney in 2013. They were able to use laproscopy to remove the kidney so the procedure was less invasive. That individual is alive and well today.

My Dad had the same thing and had a kidney removed. Then they had to follow up with chemo on the bladder. He came through it fine and lived years after with no problem. So, chin up! They can do a lot with that particular kind of cancer. God will see you through it. Praying for you both!

Oh my. I'm so sorry to hear your bad news! My doctor once told me "if you got to have cancer, kidney cancer is a 'good one to have." My grandmother had a kidney removed around age of 40ish, and she lived to 98 and a half years old. So, God bless you and your family. Prayers for you . I had my right kidney removed 28 years ago it was front to back cut. They don't do that anymore. It's a smal cut and suction out. Less recovery time. I was up in 3 days walking with large cut couldn't sit still. You've got this stay positive. God Bless

Hello from England. Had the same operation back in April this year. The cancer had blocked the return artery to my heart so my lower legs swelled up. Kidney and cancer in the artery removed, lymph nodes clear and no spread. Now having immunotherapy for next year. Prayers for you mate, i'am sure you will make a full recovery.
