The tone is nice, Darkglass is an amazing brand, this guy plays perfectly well but... Every bassist now have "this tone". It was a huge step forward some years ago, and this is an amazing job really... But everybody "sounds the same" now. At least, it's my point of view, but every modern bassist have this kind of Periphery tone

Love your products, but I wish you guys did videos with people using mediocre basses. Not everyone has a 2 grand+ bass, and it would be nice to see how good it could make even a mid level bass sound.

I wonder how that would work with a bass monosynth, like Moog Little Phatty or a TB-303. Can the box handle line signals or is it targeted at bass guitars only?

Does the Microtubes X also have a low band compression (and just lacks the knob to tweak it), or is the compressor exclusive to the X7?

Which cab sim was used, is that OK to share? It says 3rd party but it would be nice to know :)

so a question I had since the first promo vid I saw of this pedal: When you set the lp to 350 and hp to 600. What happens with the the frequensies between them? Are they clean, distorted or are they just gone and away?

I just bought the Alpha Omicron. I have a 200 Euros cheap Squier connected to a Sansamp preamp + Alpha Omicron + TC Electronic compressor and it does not sound like that. How come these guys making videos on youtube make those basses sound like that? The bass makes the difference or the post production?

Hey Darkglass and/or Jacob, great video as always! I just have one question: is the preamp on the Dingwall flat or no? I'm trying to listen to the characteristics of the pedal and its own EQ before making a purchase, and it sounds like he's already pushing a lot of his bright tones from his bass already into the pedal.

Hey guys so here is the deal i am planning to buy the microtube X or microtube X7 but please help me! i have a dbx compressor in my rackmount already so is it kind of useless to go for the X7 that has a compressor or should i just go with the little microtube X since i have a dbx compressor already ! And save some money?
Thanks for the help i’m lost!
