I think it's a good idea to make machines the maker community can extend. You should probably worry the least about software since that is the easiest for people to improve upon. I hope it takes off.

Hey Chris good video looking to do something similar with an Arduino and clearpath motor. want to be able to control speed with a pot and display speed of the motor on a screen. Do you know if its possible to get the Clearpath motor to send speed to an LCD display and then use a pot to adjust the speed. Thanks
