Soooo I just realized that sugar Jones did a cover of this AND these years ive actually had this version and NOT Sugar Jones. I often wondered why it sounded slightly different. Omg my whole teen years have been a lie 🤦🏾‍♀️

Nice. Obviously this has more of an R&B vibe to it, real 90s for sure.
But that Sugar Jones version was 2001, added that new millennium flare to it. Plus even though I’m Canadian not being biased, but SJ version had better ad-libs added, the breakdown of “do you remember when days were, like that I was lovin you you love back, and now your missing me but I bet ya feel lonely, I bet you feel lonely”, and all around more smooth.

But both good versions nonethesless.
