At this point, it's starting to feel like SoftBank might be a solid indicator of companies to NOT invest in

Wow, this video really opened my eyes to the shady world of startup culture! It's mind-boggling to think how easily companies like IRL can deceive investors and inflate their user numbers. I used to believe in these unicorns, but now I realize it's all smoke and mirrors. Kudos to The Code Report for shedding light on this issue. Keep exposing the truth, and I'll be eagerly awaiting your next eye-opening video!

I tried to make an app like IRL, and unfortunately IRL was launched well before I managed to even scrape together an MVP. With IRL getting shutdown for faking users maybe now I can actually try pushing forward w this project

I used to work with the CEO along time ago in previous companies. He offered me a role for IRL a few years ago but turned it down for various reasons

Reddit literally did the same for years. Initial traffic on the app was purely bots and Reddit employees pretending to be normal users.

I knew irl was a scam when I only saw news articles saying it had recorded breaking user numbers, but i didn't see any cross posting to other platforms or mention of the app by any regular people, only news sites
It also just sounded like a crap app
