I found Leavv through the Chillhop stream and it has helped so much in my day-to-day. I’m a musician with cptsd and it’s hard to silence my mind when working or reading but this is such a beautifully, talent-submerged balance that really helps me enjoy life. One of the greatest artists I’ve ever heard.

The flowers coming from the head has not grown and bloomed yet, however the flowers in their hand has. The person is only willing to give part of themselves to someone when they are fully and truly happy with themselves. . . when they finally found the meaning of self love.

It's like I'm feeling nostalgic towards something I never experienced, something I have no memory of but it feels good to think back to "it" whatever that is.

" I arrived at a house that had called about an overgrown-outdated garden. She had been waiting for me at the door. As I made my way up the porch, she put herself in the doorway, and closed the inside off, as she proceeded to explain what it was she wanted to see. She was all over the place, "I want the rich soil here, the thickle-berry bushes there, the mint leaves surrounding the cherry blossom tree, " so on and so forth.

I had not recognized a word she said, I was lost in her eyes, darting from one thing to another - her lips moving slower than her heart was beating - her hands, one on top of the other, supporting her as she leaned on the storm door handle.

As I was wishing that she and I could speak forever, she had finally explained, in detail, everything she wanted to see, I nodded my head in agreement as if I had heard every single request. And then I got to work as she carefully made her way back inside the comforts of her own home.

About 4 hours under the sun, I stepped back to take a look at the progress I had made, and doing so, tried to remember what she had laid out in front of me with jumbled words.

I couldn't remember, I had learned nothing from our earlier exchange, and I began to grow ever-so frustrated. So I decided to keep moving.

6 hours had passed since then, my gardening work had almost come to an end, and I was filled with joy. All this, while in the back of my mind, I was so worried that she wouldn't be satisfied.

I walked my tools back to the truck, cleaned up the excess mulch, swept up the patches of soil that covered the walkway, and wrapped my work up.

As I approached the front door to tell her I was finished and to arrange a fair price, she had opened the door, almost as if she had been waiting there... my mind filled with fog again, the thought of her waiting for me... she started by thanking me with a big hug and very few words, so few words that it grew quiet in an instant.

I broke the silence by inviting her to take a look at the finished product. When we got to the garden, she stood there. Her hands covered her mouth, and her face as red as the sun that was setting. I thought she was upset so I touched her shoulder and she immediately fell into my arms.

I let her rest there, puzzled as ever, until she caught her breath and began to speak the most beautiful words I've ever heard in my entire life.

"It's everything I could have asked for."

I didn't know that what I had had in my mind for her garden was exactly what she wanted. "

Ladies, don't get so caught up in what you look for in a man. So much goes on in our minds, in our hearts, and in our bodies that we only have so much control over. We have capacities, maximums, limitations to certain things, not everything is abundant in a world that finds a way to substitute that for this.

Be grateful.

Men, take charge. You don't know everything, you only know what you do know, and that's enough. It's enough for you, for your significant other, your daughters, your sons. Of course there's a lot more to be gained, but don't look too far down the road and risk losing focus of where you're at now. Do what you know, do what you can, do ALL that you can. A man never half asses his work.

Be perseverant.

(We are married and have 3 children now. This isn't an 'every time' thing, this only happens when you don't know it'll happen. God works in the "maybe" moments, that's what a miracle is. Have faith, and do everything in your power until you have no more power, when you have no more power, God's kicks in and that's where the miracle comes from. PEACE.LOVE.JOY)

I've always had a dream about having a cafe plant nursery, the outside would have plants of all sorts of varieties, nice umbrellas and tables that fit a modern aesthetic, you go in the cafe and see plants on shelves and people watering them, the tables and seats are white and the air is so very fresh, you can leave the main room where people serve coffee and pastries and go to the next room where we sell plants, the natural light from the sun roof shining down on all the plants as people are browsing plants and pots, you see a small area for people who just want to drink and eat in that room, all sorts of plants are thriving and growing around the corners as an aesthetic.

The flowers he's growing are different to the ones he is offering, suggesting even though he is working on himself (growing) he doesn't feel the person will want what he has.
