The Earth does never occupy the same spot in space twice. In fact, it's always in a new place. It doesn't ever return to a same spot. The Sun is orbiting the center of the Galaxy, and the Galaxy itself is moving in the local galactic group. It's hard to think of a "same spot in space", because, what is space after all? When I was younger I used to think that, every 365-366 days, the Earth would return to the same spot it had been exactly one year before. "Space" and "time" are very strange things I guess.

The sun is a big party bus for planets. I read an article about prehistoric eras back in time millions of years ago that scientists also calculate backwards the sun's position.

Oh my god !this answer had given me a faith because quran says sun swims along its orbit, but people thinks sun orbiting earth, and quran also says everything swims along its orbit include etc, Subahanallah🙌

Everything also made in pairs quran says include human, gravity of a mass of object from another object, atoms, and from anything we dont know, i think aliens also like us. Everything spins anti-clockwise include atoms, planet and tawaf the kaaba.

Yep, but they see it as with only 3 space dimensions and 1 time dimension,
When observing 1 time dimesion more, and the first timedimension then seen as a spacedimension:
that is then 4 space dimensions and the one formerly overlooked 1 time dimension more; then the helixes are recognised as not orbits but as concrete helixshaped objects, so we are on a Earthhelix not a Earthglobe ( ETC. )

i mean people can normally predict that sun is not stationary as it comes and goes in the night and sun changes positions throughout the day but their so called book doesn't give the vortex theory and how sun actually moves, which is now answered by the science.

The frustrating part to me is that this video has compelling animation, some of which is sort of right. I wish I could find this kind of animation to illustrate current "mainstream" astronomy theories and observations. The animation of planets' orbits around the sun as the sun moves around the galaxy, seen from the perspective of the planets *also* moving around the galaxy, is deeply interesting to me. To me, animating the good ol' heliocentric model as it moves within the galaxy in a manner similar to this "vortex viral video" would be hugely entertaining and enlightening.

Translation of Sorat Ya-Sin Ayat 38 – of the Quran

[36:38] “And the sun runs to a resting place for it“

Meaning that the sun after running, will seize to move and rest in a pre-designated place!
