The singer Ed Sheeran posted a video of himself on Instagram riding a tractor singing along to Thin Lizzy's The Boys are Back in Town as he confirmed a minority stake purchase in his boyhood club, Ipswich Town.

'It’s any football fans dream to be an owner in the club they support,' the singer wrote alongside the video. Sheeran, who was born in West Yorkshire but grew up in Framlingham, Suffolk, has been a lifelong fan of Ipswich Town. The singer's total stake in the Premier League club is 1.4%.
