The London-based producer quickly rose to prominence with euphoric, sample-based releases that show off his penchant for creativity and experimentation, earning the fresh talent over 200 million streams worldwide for his blend of expert techniques and modern sensibilities. Following remixes for high profile artists such as Jessie Ware, Alex joins Glitterbox with 'I'm So Glad', a love story bursting with classic disco elements and chopped vocal loops over a lively and funky bassline. 'Soul Speaks' follows on the EP, further demonstrating Alex's sample-led sound with a more understated, instrumental quality.

Desperate times at Glitterbox. It seems their position of “ let’s put anything out there and see if it’s sticks “ philosophy continues.

This is musically bereft of any skills. Not only is it often out of key, but the time compression / warping is some of the worst you’ll ever hear.

The overall sonics and mastering are about as bad as you can get.

As of 2022, Glitterbox has been trying a new direction but this disposable garbage belongs in the dumpster.

As GB themselves seem to be focused on the artists alleged 200 million plays, popular doesn’t mean it’s good, artistic or well made.

Those at defected are destroying the brand. Whoever is doing the A&R, appears to be completely clueless and doesn’t listen to what they’re putting out.

How this ever got licensed is questionable and desperately sad that you can ruin such an incredible classic with the most amateur of production.

If you don’t believe me go check out the waveform where often the audio completely disappears above 15KHtz.
