Joe Dombrowski (aka Mr.D) took the world by storm in 2017 with a viral April Fools’ Day spelling test prank that landed him multiple appearances on the Ellen DeGeneres show. Don't get it twisted though! It takes at least 20 years to be an overnight sensation! Joe has been doing stand up comedy since he was eight years old in his third grade talent show. He's never stopped! Since Joe rise to fame, he has been traveling the globe with his stand-up comedy which often highlights his crazy life as an elementary school teacher. When he’s not getting creative on screens and stages, Joe spends his time in Seattle, Washington producing his podcast “Social Studies” where he recaps absolutely insane stories from teachers all over the world.

Secret: Just make sure the mini fridge is plugged into a wall outlet and not an extension cord. 😉

Gotta love those flair pens.
I must say I got an iPad mini this past year and I love it for taking notes and keeping track of all the things. Now I can carry all my plans, notes, etc and it’s all in one place. It’s a bit pricey for the back to school wish list. But I love it.

Mini Frig

1. Keeps snacks cool for snack Left over yogurts, applesauce, etc. Mostly PreK / VPK

2. We put water bottles for PE. (Older kids)

3. Donated juices and special milks and stuff for children's diet, etc.

I laughed out loud about the mini fridge with a tablecloth on it. I did the EXACT same thing. Disguised it as a table.

Love the video. If you have any tips for interviewing for teaching positions, that would make a great video too. A lot of the tips for other job hunters don’t work for teachers.

Omg... i'm embarrassed to admit it, but I almost bought a spinning wheel for myself last week. Im so yired of doing the same house chores over and over. I figured Id mix it up. Lmao

Have all of these except the deli meat counter. BUT…I use the take a number system sorta except kids have to write their names in order on a board when they are ready, and I just call the next name each time. Works for me!

I am a pre school teacher from India and it comes as a shock to me that teachers in some countries are supposed to buy their own supplies! I mean that’s just wild. Us teachers in India are underpaid and overworked but damn most of our schools here covers supplies.
This job man! It takes a certain dedication from us.
