Wow! I learned this Kata as “Tekki Shodan” when formally training Shotokan about 20 years. I’ve since been researching other styles versions of this and all the other Kata as well as practical applications of the movements themselves (most of which are close range clinch fighting, close range strikes, grappling, throws, sweeps, and other takedowns.” But I’ve NEVER seen any version of this Kata done like this before. It’s absolutely fascinating! Do you have videos about practical applications for the movements? Especially the ones where you dip down very low. I assume those are takedowns involving leg grabs?
