Jonas Kaufmann performs Siegmund in concert from Wagner's "Die Walküre" at the Bayerische Staastoper. This performance, of Act 1 of Wagner's opera, marked the reopening of the Bayerische Staatsoper after being closed for many months due to Covid-19. Lise Davidsen performs Sieglinde, and Georg Zeppenfeld performs Hunding, while Asher Fisch conducts the Bayerisches Staatsorchester. A video broadcast of the performance is available for a limited time after the performance.
