Alycia Debnam Carey on 'Lexa deserved better' & 'Love is Love'

That was a really TOP question from a fan to Alycia in her first panel of Q & A on the Comic Con Copenhagen 2016.
Alycia gave a very carefully, respectful and grateful answer to that question that so many were waiting for, almost since her amazing loving role as Lexa was killed in the show "The 100", 7 months ago.

Alycia just didn't and still doesn't understand the impact LEXA had on people. The issue for me is she and Eliza never interacted with the fans on Social Media to see the impact during the 16 episode Lexa was on T1OO.

For example: Right Now there is the Supergirl couple ship "Sanvers"; both actresses are very much invested with the fans interacting and seeing the out pouring they are getting.

With Alycia and Eliza they never interacted with the CLEXA/Lexa fandom, then post 307 they stayed away for sure!
Eliza and Alycia were disconnected in that way; if they saw or maybe interacted a little more with fans during the time period of CLEXA both would have understood the impact overall.

She was my favorite character too and she definitely deserved better 🙁
I missed her so much for the rest of the show and always anticipated her magical return somehow 😭😭
Her short glimpses and mentions throughout the show was what kept me going tbh😭❤
