The cutest thing is when it rains and they're all wearing their bright yellow raincoats. They look like little ducklings in a group.

I'm over 58 yrs old & live in the UK & have saluted any driver that has ever stopped for me, it's a common courtesy!

In southern Italy we thank too. Not for letting us cross, but for not running over us lol

I wish all countries could prioritize the safety and respect of children like Japan does.

Also about Japan: Even in a event like a huge earthquake, Japanese people are always so calm and disciplined. Always helping others and making sure everyone is Much respect to 👍🎌🇯🇵

I was driving and stopped for a kid at a crossing. He was so confident with his hand up while I was slowing to stop. He gave me a deep bow after he had crossed. Put a smile on my face.

That's smart. It trains both children and drivers to be more aware of each other.

I tried this in Germany and I only just got out of the hospital 💀

When I lived in Japan years ago I noticed the tradition of little kids lining up neatly and bowing to the bus driver and yelling thanks as they entered. It was adorable until you realized you had to wait for a line of 10 kids to politely make their way into the bus.

The respect breeds mutual respect. Brought a smile to my face.

Both the driver and the kid shows how desciplined they were.. 😊

I was stationed in Japan for a couple years, these children are taught at an early age so much respect and discipline.

I was driving in a mall parking lot one day and there was a bunch of Japanese tourists, looked like a school with a bunch of kids waiting at the crosswalk. I stopped and let them cross, every single kid stopped a quick second and bowed to thank me for letting them cross.
