Batteries will always weigh the same no matter what state of charge THIER holding .whereas the weight of fuel decreases as it's used .... although maybe some of the weight could be compensated for by

They should just develop these things in theory first. They’re so impractical, and produce way too much waste, that it will be years until it’s viable for mass transit. When battery technology improves drastically, then you’ll have something. People seem to forget that lithium is expensive to produce, and that’s the best there is right now.

LiOn Batteries are already obsolete, ( not too mention the MFG being economically & ecologically unsustainable). Carbon batteries and ultra lightweight to capacitance graphene supercapacitors will be the next technological evolution.

Please.. "kW per hour" is NOT a measure of battery capacity (or anything else useful). You got it right some of the time (kW hour) so why confuse people by getting it wrong sometimes?
So many people fail to understand the difference between power (measured in kW) and total energy capacity (measured in kW hours).. not surprising when "technical" articles and videos don't get it right.
