Tips : how to end your bracelet or necklace with a beading wire

Do you have trouble ending your bracelets or necklaces with beading wire? Can't get the ending loop small enough? This is assuming that you are not using a wire guardian but even if you are there may be some tips that may be useful to you.

In summary:
1. Ensure the tail end is at least 3 inches long
2. After putting in your crimp and clasp, thread through the crimp only. Don't go through any more beads.
3. Use your pliers to help tug the wire in as close as you wish
4. After threading the wire end into a couple more beads, use your pliers to hold the wire tight while you cut so that the tension will help the tiny tail end to retract back into the last bead.

This is amazing. I was getting so frustrated at wire beading. My designs are great, but breakage was a problem. Thank you!

This was exactly what I needed! I generally work with hard, rather than flexible, wire. Before your video, I only knew how to close by doing a wrapped loop with the wire. Of course, this is impossible with flexible wire, which I needed for a project. Of course I could string on the beads, but how to end it? Just when I was thinking, "How do people make wrapped loops with this?", I found your video, which clearly explained the crimping and working of that soft flexible wire. The images are so clear, and your voice is very soothing to listen to. The bracelet turned out perfectly, thanks to this video. Thank you!

I am a beginner and constantly had an awkward gap in my bracelets due to not knowing how to properly finish them off. This has solved that problem immediately. Thank you!!!

This is a good video. My only comment is to before you crimp,
(a) pull the free end of the wire (coming back) away from the other wire segment (going up), then
(b) holding the free wire end, put the doubled wire under a magnifying lens to ensure that the wire segments are on opposite sides of the crimp tube.

Excellent! Thank you! Great tutorial!! And to be honest, I love hearing creaking doors. Reminds me of when I was little, and the screen doors on our porch always creaked!
Thanks again! Jan

I did this and by rolling the crimp on around was able t slip it into the last bead. Added a tiny touch of glue too.
