1. Sharapova was saved partially by the rain.
2. Bartoli was hitting very hard.
3. That tedious rutine from Bartoli when she was waiting for the serve.

Uh, love Marion - such a badass. Insane match.

She was not naturally talented in anything even athleticism but she is such a hard worker and fighter. She could have won more and even became top 5 in 2013 but right after her Wimbledon win she broke her tendon in her shoulder.

Bartoli could beat ANYTHING on the right day, she never did get past Pova though, came close several times.

It’s too bad I got interested in tennis in late 2012, I would have really enjoyed Bartoli’s backhand. That was powerful.

When I first saw Marion I thought she was one of the other players to have both two-handed forehand and backhand who could be the next Monica. She wasn't quite there but her groundstrokes were on point.

I remembered this match vividly  Bartoli was very dominant from the beginning played every point beautifully and have a total control of this match and the reason Sharapova has won this match because of the rain interrupted while she was in locker room got some tips and coaching come  back that changed everything she was very lucky to win this
