This is one of my local comic book shops, awesome. I don't frequent here but I did stop by on Free Comic Book Day to buy some books on sale. It's about 5 mins from my house.

About 6 months ago I bought the 11 issue Court of Owls Run. It's so good. I have never been more addicted to reading a story before that. I highly recommend it.

Garth Ennis' War Story one-shots are excellent, he has a real feel for the authenticity of human emotions and reactions in his combat tales.
I love the EC reprints from Russ Cochran and Gemstone, certainly more affordable than the originals and the colours just leap out at you.

Perez got me into reading Wonder Woman back in the day, he did most of the interiors, if not all, as well.

There are some comic book shops i noticed that its like they are open when they want to be open lol. There is one here in the Quad Cities. I have stopped by 4 times when google says they should be open, hell even their own adds on late night says they should be open and they where closed. Its crazy lol so i understand the frustration.

That's an interesting way to try and get back issues sold. Buy 5 for 25 plus get 5 free. Funny everything looks like dollar books though.

My lcs is closed on Mondays. Sometimes I'll be in their neighborhood and stop by. Whoops, they're closed. It's Monday. 😅

Why is it that Wonder Woman rarely show up in collections? While many guys did buy the comics over the years, women's collections are more likely to be plentiful.

Sucks first shop was closed. A lot of businesses neglect to update online. Ill go to a store cuz it says closes 10 pm but in reality its 9pm. We live in the internet age. Someone should have cared to notice.
