I really loved paperlike but I ended up messing my first screen protector because of the bubbles, on the second one I followed all the instructions and got the best result I could get, it was amazing, I'm satisfied.

Just installed paperlike and loving it so far. The video is great too, but two quick comments (probably obvious) that would have helped me: first, turn the iPad off (it's annoying to have it turning it on every time you try to push bubbles out, and makes it harder to see them) and second, when putting the sticker in the lower left corner, make sure it's above where the camera is on the other side (so that it adheres to the flat rear of the iPad, rather than trying to stick it to a lump)

The video was very helpful, but whew this was tough to apply. My first paperlike sheet ended up being a practice run because the bubbles couldn't be worked out. I had to pull it off and trash it to immediately apply the second sheet. My issue seemed to be that peeling off the protective layer reintroduced bubbles across the surface as it was pulled back. It was perfect prior to that step and fortunately my second run didn't end up too bad.

i feel the pain echoed in many of these comments having having changed out multiple paperlike screen covers on multiple ipads, the first time was both disastrous and expensive, it is only through this road of suffering that i have achieved paperlike change out mastery all i can reccomend is *take your time, * follow this video closely slowly and methodically * have a space set up to perform the initial application or change out, if i could do it for you i would, my heart goes out to all of you this thing is not cheap and a crumple ruins it quick... overall the product provides and excellent writing and drawing experience and that is why i keep returning to it

Hello, I looked at lots of sites, searched everywhere and it was from you that I took IPAD protection and protection film because I must say that this is what is the best level of protection/price, I must say that I I'm super delighted, impeccable placement of the film without bubbles! Everything straight forward until the last step. All the effort i put in, only for the paperlike to come off with the top foil, no matter how gentle or slow i take it off

The installation process is the only reason why I’m not using a paperlike. Other manufacturer figure out a way to make it more straightforward to install.

The application process was so bad that I regret purchasing this. Absolute nightmare and there is about 200 bubbles on mine.

Managed to install it with only one small dust bubble, too bad it's in the middle of the screen, ugh.

LMAO, mine didn't work like this at all. The paperlike screen just comes off completely from the protective screen before I apply it. I didn't even realize it on the first one which at this point feels more like $20 in the garbage. Time to try the second one that came with it in hopes I didn't waste $40 dollars on this, haha.

Great tutorial. :) Installed on iPad Pro 12.9, no bubbles, went smoothly. In a cat inhabited household.

The most difficult part for me was cleaning with the alcohol wipe without moving the Paperlike cover and stickers.

Otherwise, this was dead simple. I had two small bubbles that I was able to easily work out. Looks great. As an artist I want to be looking at my art, not the screen protector.

I'm fortunate to not really have to worry about the price of this product, but after reading these comments, I don't even think I am going to try to install it. Maybe in a few weeks I'll try if I just can't stand writing on the iPad but for now, I'm not even going to attempt to install it and save myself the headache that is obviously coming if I try.

Good tutorial! Most important thing: do not rush, meaning watch the video one time BEFORE you actually do it and make sure you have got EVERYTHING prepared.

First time installation was near perfect. Now about three years later it was indeed flawless.

Take your time and be patient.

I do Not want to hate, maybe im just Incompetent. But Bro. So I still had a few bubbles in my screen protector and tried to get them out with a credit card. But when i squeezed out a small bubble, it left a huge scratch. Is that supposed to be a protective film?

Not nearly as easy as it looks. Actual screen protector stuck to the white sheet and got thrown aside on the first one. Second almost did the same thing and I ended up eye balling it onto the iPad. Now I remember why I stopped buying these things years ago.
