Everything I have heard from the Crowes with Luther Dickinson is unbelievable! Wish I could have seen that version of their line-up live.

You are not alone, my friend. I spent 5 straight nights in October of 2005, at the front of the Henry Fonda Theater in Los Angeles, wedged at the front of the stage between Marc's cabinets. His playing was as expressive as any of the shows I saw in '95-96. I have not felt the same intensity & chemistry with any of the subsequent lineups since Marc's most recent departure.

Starting at the 1:38 and through 2:05 it goes total Zep & absolutely gets it. Then it bounces back to The BC.

Not too bad. I won't say that Luther makes me not miss Marc at all. Yet this take is less noodley than I've heard him play it with the band.

This bassist has the weirdest way of bass playing ever, and that has always makes me wonder if he's a faker. Looks not. His right hand's just weird.
