Both cities are fantastic, but for me Dublin, good pros and cons from you Kevin. Dublin for me is more cosmopolitan and has a better focus on tourism, while also entertaining the locals. I would also say the locals are a little bit more friendly. Belfast attitudes can be a little bit more black and white, while Dublin attitude is just grey and you are accepted for you and everything else is irrelevant. Seville should be the next city Kev, absolutely fantastic.

Not even a close comparison, Belfast is 30 years behind Dublin.

Was in Belfast from the States for the first time this past October. I really liked it. While I appreciated Dublin, I keep thinking of Belfast and how I want to go back soon. Thanks for this video.

Done the both and done the tour buses while there, personally think they’re both well worth the visit, Belfast seems more of a big city whereas Dublin feels more relaxed for a mooch around the centre and the rejuved docks area. 6 of one half a dozen the other IMO

Dublin is a capital of a sovereign European country and has benefited from economic booms, low tax, FDI and taxpayers money. Belfast is a regional capital that gets subsidized to function and no more. So for it even to be in the conversation with Dublin (and especially after its history) isn't bad going. People from Dublin and London are even moving to Belfast now. Its also 100x more international than when I was growing up in the 90s. The city centre does need investment though. A lot of work to do

Born and bred in Belfast, now living in Dublin, I’ve enjoyed all of your videos, I wouldn’t go into Dublin City for a drink because, the name tag “rip off Ireland” came about because of the cost of everything in Dublin, the name tag “rip off Ireland” is right…. I love going back up home to Belfast because, it’s the place of my birth, I love meeting with my family and friends, and, it’s always a fun, relaxing time knowing that I’m in good company, and, NOT getting ripped off… the only sad part about going up home is, when I’m leaving again to come back down to Dublin, the memories of my childhood always come running down my face, however, as I travel closer to Dublin, I’m always looking forward to my own bed, and, my own wee family waiting for me, especially my wee grandsons… my family and I just have a hundred square mile backyard… oh! And, I love going to Asda and getting a pasty and chips from the chippy, And; under no circumstances do i leave Belfast without, vegetable roll, beaf sausages, soda and potato farls… I guess I have the best of both worlds. I’m feeling extremely blessed…
Thanks again for your videos of Dublin and Belfast City centres 🇮🇪☘️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Dublin is much older city than belfast i think belfast only became a city in the 19th c3entury and a town in the 16tth century whereas dublin dates from the 10th century

The main difference between Belfast and Dublin is that the street lamposts in Belfast have more Union Jack flags 🇬🇧 on them than the lamposts in Dublin!

Thank you for taking the time to show us Ireland. Why not stop and talk to the locals?

Your accent is a challenge for us Americans. I like it!

Have fun and I look forward to more of your videos. Many thanks. U.S.A.

Belfast is growing quickly into a very nice city. Dublin is great & has a lot more tourism but I find it a lot more expensive

I find them pretty similar. Even outside tourist area, both are similar in prices.

If you're just staying in the centre than Belfast is a much nicer city now.

Worked and lived in Belfast for a few years and I was glad to get out it’s a bad city, bad vibe. Dublin is a beautiful city with history around every corner, but Amsterdam trumps the two of them it’s years ahead of both, enjoyed all your Dublin vids

Dublin, is a more lively city but at night. I would say Belfast, is safer also it is easy to get around but Dublin has way more sights to see and if you consider the exchange rate sterling to euro there is not much difference in price in either city as inflation has hit everywhere. So I would say Dublin, is a better place for things to do and the good Ould Irish crack 😀
