When I read about Vladyka John (St John of San Fran) how he wore himself out, poured himself out, for people, it's astounding.

Great message. Even greater icon walls that’s actually awesome.

How should we approach this, Father? Should we give everything we are asked for, even if it's all we have? I thought of when Christ told us to give generously, and as the Fathers say also. I know we should act in love and with mercy. I am saying this because i helped a person(i dont regret it, and i believe she was truthful) which asked me for more and more each time i returned to her bringing her food and some money resulting in me giving it all i had away. Again, i dont regret it, and i believe it was Christ trying to teach me something. My priest told me i should help moderetly in this regard. How should i understand this all? I am not trying to shame either of them i am trying to understand better, i want to help others and serve Christ.
