I quite like the improved language understanding and better quality without "filler prompts". Strangely though, the new upscaler seems to be heavily stylised towards digital art with heavy outlines, even if the original image is not in that style.

I'd love if you also include which SDXL model you used for the image. It kind of feels like at least some of the difficulties you had were just suboptimal model choices for what you were trying to achieve.

Midjourney looks so much better than Stable Diffusion. SDXL ruined Stable Diffusion. SD 1.5 was the best and they went downnhill from there thanks to the XL branch.

I've been really disappointed in MJ recently, I like making images of classy female models, (not objectified or NSFW) now there's way too many rejected prompts. And when they do work, the results are not what they used to be.
