If the school system in South Korea was integrated in the USA. The kids will never go to school anymore. Longer hours, bad grades are not tolerated and you will get punished. Tougher Courses.

We should recalculate Sweden and Germany's IQ in light of recent demographic shifts.  Furthermore, that these nations allowed recent events to unfold makes me question the validity of the original average.

I'm Korean. Koreans value intelligence very much, so most children are raised by tiger mom, who seriously cares about her children's performance. Many students are overwhelmed with works given by private institute, and most of parents want that to make their kids No. 1.

The high IQ in Asian countries is not insignificantly due to a solid education system, discipline, diligence, dedication and hard work and somewhat healthy diet. These are the same factors Iq tests fail to measure ( at least directly). That is why there is unfortunately an epidemic of Kentucky Fried Idiots worldwide and some of them have a high IQ score.

Italy Germany Netherlands and Austria have the highest IQ in Europe at 102 points- some Asian countries are before them !!!

They are judging from average iq in a country not as an individual. Your iq is higher than average but it doesn't mean that all your fellow country mates are as smart as you are.

I hope they had a fixed number to count the average.
other wise the problem with this calculation is that the population size is a major factor which one cannot really measure.
For instance, Germany has a population of 80+ Million vs Singapore which has only 5.3 Million.

I also really expected Hungary in the list, or even Ireland. They have really good schooling systems.

I'm Korean and there's nobody who got lower then 110 on IQ test in my class. I think that average is wrong.

Hong Kong is a city, more than a country in and of itself. It attracts most of the talent in China, which is why the country of China is not on the list.
