Yuzu (Windows) - Simple Guide: Change Install Location/Make Yuzu Portable

Making Yuzu portable or changing the install location can be a little confusing. This should help with that.

This very short guide shows you how you can move the yuzu folder anywhere. Keep in mind that if you have an existing installation on your drive, you will need to move your unique data to the new folders.
Previous installations of Yuzu are always found at %appdata%\yuzu and %localappdata%\yuzu. Typing any of these into your File Explorer address bar or Run dialog will take you straight to the directories.

Thanks bro, my C drive is very small, it's basically just for the system, but then it kept running out of space because the damn yuzu emulator by standard puts everything there, so the folder was going above 20gb at this point. Now I can finally free space without losing my progress on the games.

This is perfect man, thank so much. So I can move this'msvc' server anywhere on any drive and Yuzu will work as normal?

Your method worked great to make Yuzu portable. My C drive was running out of storage so I move the portable Yuzu over to my large D drive. Almost everything worked perfectly. The only problem now is my Yuzu does not check for updates and perform updates while in the D drive. How can I update my portable Yuzu?

dose having the game installed on a faster drive but the emulator on a slower biger drive make a difference? or is it better to just have everything on the same drive?

hi, thank you for the video, and then I couldn 't find how to change the location of this emulator, otherwise it is put into disk C according to the standard and when you put amateur or professional translations on it, the folder will weigh more than 25 GB ! When transferring the folder, the dig, alas, broke down, but I was able to fix it by going to the root folder of the emulator and using the maintenancetool program !
