Re-upload of "Dirk Nowitzki in the Clutch - 2011 Playoffs Edition" complete with footage that my original video missed, such as Dirk's clutch highlights against the Lakers in game 1 (1:25) and his clutch free throws throughout the postseason.

Dirk beat the Champion-Lakers with Kobe, then OKC with Harden, Westbrook and Durant and the Heat with Lebron, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh. Its surely one of the greatest playoff runs of all time.

I'm not a Mavs fan, but this has got to be the best championship run I've ever witnessed, watching Dirk go through all those superstars while not having a single teammate who got named an All-Star that year is truly marvelous.

This is a true example of a human being elevating himself to a level of superhuman performance.

It's time that people start calling this for what it is. This is one of the top 2 sustained periods of playoff form ever in NBA history. Simply unreal and he knocked off OKC, Defending Champion Lakers AND heavily favoured Big 3 Heat to do it.

Unreal.

Dirk was a man on a mission that year. Everyone who wasn't blinded by the Heat's big 3 could see what was coming. Monster Dirk, plus a team of hungry vets dying for a ring, and Carlisle out-coaching everyone. I'll remember 2011 for the rest of my life.

4:10 "if I'm Serge Ibaka, I'm naming my first son, Dirk." LOLS

Look at the shots this man was making. That fadeaway was legitimately unstoppable. Didn’t matter he was slow, he was gonna get to his spot and there was nothing you could do about it

Dirk in his prime is one of the most unstoppable players I've seen.

His performance in the 2011 playoffs is the greatest single playoff performance I've ever seen. I recall Serge Ibaka gave him no space yet Dirk kept scoring cause he was unstoppable. That Dallas team was incredible to watch with Kidd at point, Shawn Marion, the Jet, Chandler, & Dirk + their solid role players.

Since MJ, I think this is the greatest Playoff performance I have witnessed. Man that dude was balling out. German Legend.

I grew up in Dallas and it's no secret that Texas as a whole is a football state. But in Dallas the Mavericks are loved the same as the Cowboys. Dirk is truly a once in a life time player on and off the court. A real class act.

That end watching Nowitski raising his hands celebrating made me cry!!!

He was just unstoppable, unmatchable and unguardable...

He deserved that chip years before and Shaq and Wade were the only ones who took the first chip out of Dallas hands...

But Nowitski was like fine wine who get better and then came back even more unstoppable and destroyed Kobe, Westbrook, Durant, Wade, Lebron and everyone who get in the path...

I remember the happiness of seeing him winning a championship because he deserved it and fought like the best player that year...

We witnessed the greatest road to championship since MJ leaved the NBA...

Thank God for letting us to enjoy such a gifted player who was simply unbelievable...

Dirk was the best player in the playoffs for this entire run and I don’t think it was close. The man scored 48 on 12/15 shooting incredible

Best playoffs and Finals performance in the last two decades. This is how you're suppose to win championships KD.

I will never forget the Game 2 Finals comeback sequence and Dirk's lefty lay-up at the end to win the game for as long as I live. Thanks Dirk for the memories

From 2000 to 2018, this Mavericks team was the only team to only roster 1 all-star. Yet they defeated countless all stars along the way.

What made this Dirk more dangerous is how strong his driving game, especially going to his left, was during this playoff run. Look at all those sweet lefty scoop layups when defenders were trying to stick close to guard his patented turnaround. If he couldn't punish their over-comitment to his jump shooting, he'd have lost a lot.
