I remember my older sister who was a 90s kid, had one of these, I thought it looked cool and I asked her what it was, she said "it's for your hair", she barely finished her sentence and I turned it on and put it toward my head. Screaming ensued....hair was ripped out...a new fear was unlocked.

i had this when I was 10, and I was excited to use it on my dolls' hair. It was fun at first until i wondered, "What if I used it on my own hair?" (mind you, I have 4b hair. See where this is going?)5 minutes later, I instantly regretted my decision and desperately tried to untangle that dang thing from my hair. Luckily I got it out, but boy, I never did that again.

Omg this brings back so many memories 🤗🤗 that thing used to snatch out, tangle, mess up my hair all the way, but you couldn't tell me nothing when I had 4 or 5 twist done I thought I was queen Elizabeth. 😂

these came back in the 2010s. i remember having one as a kid and it ripped my hair out so my mom threw it away and i had a MELTDOWN because i did not care that it ripped my hair out. all my friends had one so i wanted to keep mine😭
