I legit prefer composite over RGB. Acts a kind of blending and de-sharpening filter. Much prefer a moderately softer image. On something like an Atari 2600 I'd even prefer RF.

The composite is going to look brighter because of the nature of the signal but the right image is the correct one/what the console is generating.

You didn't get to the biggest difference, which is the waterfalls.

What's interesting about RGB is that some colors are desaturated or darker than composite. I wonder why. I've used a modded N64 and composite appears duller than RGB. I guess it has something to do with the Genesis' RGB DAC.

Is there a way to remove the blue borders on the screen or is it normal?

SCART is way better, the only problem I have with it is that it keeps disconnecting from my TV.

*the ONLY good about AV is dithering like the see through water in Sonic games and the lights in Streets of Rage games but the rest of da picture suck so RGB people!* 💡
