The problem with big institutes is you don't get to study from best teachers for all exams. Kuch log CAT ka acha pada dete hain OMETs ke liye ek hi person hai Pranav sir. He is the most hardworking and sincere teacher for MBA exams. Whoever has attended his youtube classes on gradeup, unacademy or MBA Karo will agree with me.

Catking (marketing expert )
* In this coaching mostly their are only 2hour classes each day.
Tue, wed, thus (quants and dilr ) (class length 1 hr each
Friday and Saturday (verbal, dilr or quants ) class length ( kehene ko to 1hr but Sumit sir always late for 20min ) .
Sat and Sunday :- iit nit batch (2hour )

To be very Frank 1 ghante me kuch nahi hota
Uusme bhi 2 din baad eenka topic change ho jata h (example mon -Tues arithmetic ( uusi 2 ghate me chapter katam ) uuske baad topic change and dubra arithmetic ke phir se 1 week ka wait kro (chapter change )
( Indirectly kisi bhi topic par depth nahi aayegi )

Lrdi me bhi same h ( bas karne ko set kar rahe h ... No indepth )

English ( no queries Jo bol raha hu vo karo ye option sahi h baki dusre option galat h ( no explanation why sirf utni explanation h jitni kisi ke answer key me hoti h )

Doubt to kabhi solve hi nahi hote
Khud hi kahi or se dimak marna padta h ..
Class chat ka to koi repose hi nahi (bas yes no yes karte raho ..)

Study material thik h as such koi major problem nahi h . ( Lod1 or lod 2 format me h)

Mock :- aache h ( vedio solution is also very good )

Only shudhanshu sir is good baki koi bhi nahi ... Bas ek flow me padte jate h no doubts and all
Sumit sir ( is great only in YouTube vedio ) no doubts uunka yt kaafi aacha h but classes I don't think so uuti aachi h ...
Moinac sir h jo mock ka anylsis karte hh to vo bhi sahi h .

In brief aagr app moderate level par ho to join kar lena . ( Cat level foundation khud sikhana padega ) .

Plss don't trap in motivation of Sumit sir
Cat is not easily exam
Do hardwork don't waste your too much time to consume yt motivation .
Cat exam me kuch help nahi hone wali ...
8, 8, 8 questions cat me karna vo bhi Etna aasan nahi jitne asani se bata diya jata h ..

Ye sab realise tab hoga jab tumhara confidence Tut jayega and then you become repeater ....

Mere according to join catking is not a good decision .

Ketan sir:- verbal strategy are awesome realistic you will definitely improve in varc section . ( Very deep anylsis ) har baat ka answer ye option kyu nahi select karna or aagr ye select karna h to kyu karna h ..
RC kese padte h . Bec initially 2 hours classes me (1 ya 2 rc solve karte h or bhut deeply ) your mindset and thinking level change according to rc level .

Sanky sir is really op uunka experience kaam h but doesn't matter at all samjh me me aana chaiye vo aata h ..
Arpit sir is also good .


This coaching always gave you reality check no bekar ka motivation ...

Currently a student of IMS Bangalore Offline classes, long story short my reason to join an offline coaching centre was to stay consistent and motivated plus have a peer group..alas found myself to be in a more miserable situation, wasting money on the classes.
If anything save yourself from their marketing gimmicks and don't spend money on them. There are plenty of resources available out here urge you to please utilise these .
Huge shoutout to Shweta for making such helpful & relatable content for all the aspirants.
Indian education system is turning out to be money making model and the only way to save ourselves is to have transparency and actual facts out here which reach the people in need of them.

So true. I wasted 1 month in search of an institute. I got in one but still, I did not find that helpful. I would highly recommend Unacademy, specially Harsh Shah sir and Sameer Sardana sir for quant and dilr and Karishma Vanvani ma'am for verbal. They might be underrated but the teaching method is very nice. For mocks, go for IMS and Cracku. Thank you so much for such constant motivating and informative videos.

Although i m student of IMS from XYZ city... In that centre ....
Quality of classes were not good....but when you check online portal of IMS .. believe me you don't need any Teacher as offline online portal of IMS is world best.... And mocks are best of best .. no word to about IMS online portal..

I was a student of MBA Guru CP offline batch. I joined at around Jan 2022 and left on July. I am very weak at maths and struggle doing basic maths questions and I knew maths is an imp part of the exam so I wanted a coaching that will teach from the very basic level as I am also an arts students and have lost touch with maths for years. This was one of the main reasons I left the institute. The teachers are good and the coaching provides many facilities but they do not start at the very basic level. During the first few months I had such a hard time coping up. I felt like I was running a race trying to finish up the concepts they were teaching but when I tried to solve something most of the time I wouldn't even be able to solve even 1 question. This disheartened me so much and I had so many mental breakdowns because of this. I followed everything they were teaching and did everything they asked me to do but felt like I was going nowhere. They do have classes for the weak (adaptive class) but at different timings (mostly late at night) and most of the time the topics for these classes and the main classes would be different so it was so hard to keep track. Both the classes were not aligning up. Some teachers would straight up laugh at you when you ask basic questions and this was discouraging.
The regular classes would go for 3 hours. First they would teach the topic concepts and then give question papers and ask everyone to solve the questions and then the rest of the class they would solve the questions that the students wouldn't be able to solve. I most of the time would hardly be able to solve the question in the class and would wait for the adaptive classes where they would teach us HOW to solve the questions only then I was getting somewhere. Around time I started noticing the students in the class were mostly BTechs and commerce students so they were able to solve the question. I however felt like a fish out of the pond.
If you are already good at maths I guess MBA Guru will be the best for you as they have many good facilities; recorded sessions, backup sessions, one on one with the teachers, training for interview skills, etc.
I might have gone wrong somewhere with my approach to the preparation but this was my experience that I wanted to share with you guys.
After I left the coaching I kept aside the syllabus and first started preparing very basic level maths which I failed to realise I needed from the very start, only then I started with the syllabus.I put my whole preparing strategy on the coaching institute which was my biggest mistake.

one more factor must be there that classes will be regular or on alternate days I joined 12 months before cat my coaching take classes on alternate day or sometime between 2-3 days gap in between two successive classes, my whole class is suffering from burnout as course was completed in September almost 9 months to complete basics.
