Another great tip I use is if you're using allied forces and the crates appear option is ticked, build the spy satellite to reveal the area completely and build yourself a chrono legionnaire to immediately teleport to the crates anywhere on the map. Just have to be careful the further he travels the longer the cool down effect is before he can teleport again.

Once I told someone the most important trick I did when I was playing against him. He was confused when I said: the three dogs that rushed at your base at the beginning...

...To clarify, that guy was new to human vs human game. He used the strategy typical of an AI skirmish player; he was also overly defensive and made no attempt to recon in early game. He didn't understand that, by uncovering most of the map early on with just THREE DOGS, I no longer have to guard my base with loads of unit because I know exactly where he would go. The best defence is by being aggressive.

If possible, Build & sell additional Ore refineries for extra miners, so you can keep vehicle queue for tanks.

I don't know if this has been patched, but in single-player skirmirsh versus an enemy Yuri AI, you can give them an MCV by mind control, then destroy their Grinder, and they will deploy the MCV and start building a new base with a new set of superweapons.

My bag of tricks:

1. Overall: dog recon early on. Harass the other guy's miners. Take his ore fields. Provoke a response and ambush it with counter unit. Stunt his growth early on. Do it right and the game is basically yours.

2. Don't be bothered with advanced units. It's nice to have but you can do just fine without. In fact, I found Prism/Mirage/Apocalypse waves a symptom of new player. Good mixture of cheap units works far better than a monolith block of expansive units. Oh, and the greatest counter-building unit is engineer.

3. Allies: Rocketeer and Harriers are great at doing one-two punch. Send rocketeer to strike deep and divert enemy AA units, and then send Harriers to follow it up. In one game my rocketeers damaged his refinery before proceeding to attack his battle lab. Just as his IFV caught up with my rocketeers...the refinery blew up behind them by my Harriers. Allies' strengths are agility and recon. All factions benefit from diversion tactics, but it works the best with Allies.

4. Germany: I particularly love Germany because it fixes Allies' early game weakness in armour. In particular, tank destroyer fits very well with my overall strategy (see 1). When harassing miners it outguns all enemy armoured response in early game. I typically mixed them with rocketeers and (if got enough time) IFV + SEALs, which could counter basically anything.

5. Soviet: Use terror drone, always and everywhere. This thing is godsend to any Soviet tactics. Just dump it everywhere in defence, so that it forms a screen that simultaneously help spot and weaken enemy advance. Or you could do recon, harass miner, guard enemy ore field, and do it on the cheap with it. I haven't tried it, but I suppose using rhino to draw fire and then send in TD is a valid counter GI blob tactic.

6. Iraq: I like Iraq for the same reason as Germany: it fixes Soviet's weakness in infantry counter. Put a bunch of desolators in enemy ore-field and you won't have to be bothered about it much afterward (Unless the other guy is UK). I have a fond memory of it since I used to play with someone who love to blob GI in his base.

battle fortress filled with GI's is seriously OP. If you are russian or yuri they will be difficult to combat. If russian avoid apocalypse tanks and stick with the faster rhino tanks. If yuri focus on using towers or yuri's to capture them. If allied you can use BF's or chrono legionnaires.

Thank you for the tips. 1 question though... is there keyboard shortcut to select all units of same type ?(eg: select 1 GI + keyboard shortcut to have all GIs selected)

if you hold alt and click on a building with an aircraft selected there's a chance the jet will land on that building or hover on them

Good video, are those clips of you playing? More things you can include in future videos maybe are Tank Control, Build orders for different factions, overall strategies for multiplayer:

With tanks alt click on building so they go and hug them when attacking. The travel of the bullets will be less making them more effective.

I can’t seem to get my “attack to” option to work properly. Every time I try it it just reverts back to the normal go to option. Any help?

Use waypoint to patrol and guard your perimeter this will ensure defense and offense.
Like enemy ores point1 and retreat point2 then regather again point3 and attack to point1 in this case any miners will be attack.
I also used waypoint to attack my enemy base using TeamA and TeamB from left and right.

Hey guys!!!I dont know how many of you have tried this.I dont build the miners from the war factory.Instead, I build an extra ore refinery and sell it immediately, so that I gain a free miner with a free extra GI or conscript. And too, if you are playing YR, it is more advantageous. You can have one extra soldier for a bunker or for the bio reactor if you are playing the Yuri.how abt this???

About #7, getting gems instead of ore, how fare away should one go for gems? How are away is it more sufficient to take gems over ore? Lets say the gems are significant further away than the ore?
