I prefer smooth building so legacy is better for me. Linear gave me faster choppy movement like sways. It made certain builds easier to perform like thwifo cones since they become more snappy. However it made it harder to make small movements such as adjusting my ar or shotgun crosshair close to someone who is at distance. It gets frustrating in buildfights. However close combat aim isn't a problem.

Legacy gave me much better control of my aim since I can control whether I wanna have my sens slow and precise as well as fast. This helps me with edits since there are certain edits that require little movement with ur reticle while some require a lot. It feels more natural and smoother for me. Editing is much easier and stress free here because more control.

For some reason exponential feels really bad for me, it's really slow for building and aiming for me but legacy is better than this.

Personally after using linear for 2 months, I think legacy is better since u get the best of both worlds: slow precise movements and fast movements. I use Kontrol Freeks so I can take full advantage of legacy. HOWEVER if u dont have Kontrol Freeks linear is probably best. BTW linear defeats the purpose of Kontrol Freeks.
Most youtubers who have smooth playstyle such as RazorX and Evade pocket haven't switched to linear as it will defeat their smooth playstyle.

Over the past weeks linear and legacy have been nerfed by not that much linear didnt feel the same and legacy is just to op and terrible for hit firing but I switched back to exponential my editing and building stayed exactly the same all I did was bring my sense up a little bit and felt exactly the same but My aim felt incredibly op if you tried exponential for a couple days for hours you'll see they buffed exponential a lot it feels way smoo and her than linear and I just think its better also I did a test exponential has more stickiness than linear when aiming down sights and hit firing

Started off on expo for the first month it was out then switched to linear up until yesterday i switched back to expo and I can say my edits and builds/tunnels are the same but my AR aim is insanely better and hip firing with a shot gun doesn't even feel bad at all but it's all preference in the end.

Expo is better because you have more control, it's like a tight screw. Linear however is like a loose screw.
