I'm gonna name (most of) the characters that showed up in the windows scene because I can 🗣️

First frame:
Matthew (black apron), Samuel (red tie) and Helena (pink hat).

Second frame:
Mr. Whale (his nose is obvious), Benjamin's dog and Roxanne (pearl necklace)

Third frame:
Bobby (sunglasses) and sponsor guy (he appeared at 0:42)

Last frame:
A bellboy (their uniform is red) and a hanging noose.

So I'm gonna hyper analyze this entire video and theorize about the lore, and how this video will probably foreshadow the events that happen in 8cide Hotel.

The video opens up with an introduction to 4 characters, James J. Jr. (Also known as Mr. J) who's the general manager for the Suicide Hotel, Lilith who's the front office manager, and 2 other guys (one who is the housekeeping supervisor, and the other who's the records manager that probably keeps records for people or deaths.) But these dudes aren't given names unlike James and Lilith so they'll probably not be very prominent except for their purpose for the plotz unless Afton, made a mistake (which I doubt).

Then it flashes to their silhouettes and each person has writing laid over it that's probably important to their character.

"Follow every rule", "Anything can be healed", "We can't protect everyone", and "Write down everything"
You can interpret what that means however you like.

THEN IT CUTS TO THE REAL INTRODUCTION TO THE ANIMATIC AND I'VE ALREADY WROTE AN ENTIRE PARAGRAPH (I THINK I DON'T WANT TO SCROLL UP)
And I honestly think the intro is the most important part of the animatic because we see all the characters in the windows and they all correlate with what I assume will happen. Like we see the silhouette of the old lady, Italian dude, and Jr. J on the same frame so their stories intertwine. Then on the next frame we see long nosed dude, and pearl necklace lady, along with a dog. 💪 (Ffs I need to edit this and find their actual names) Then we see Hat dude (that's what I'm calling him) and Bobby on the same frame which is a reference to the "Animal Cannibal" animatic. On the next frame we see red hat dude and on the window below him we see a noose, which either implies he ends up committing suicide or someone close to him does.

Then we get to the actual animatic which seems normal at first, but when we get to the housekeeping supervisor it cuts to a frame with a question mark along with the records keeper WHICH IMMEDIATELY MAKES ME SUSPICIOUS. They're the only ones without names, and they're of high status in the 8cide Hotel
Which most likely means they would know more about the operation than Lilith or James WHICH IS SUSPICIOUS.

Anyway, small letters brain hurt, basically 8cide Hotel opened 1951 and is involved with the government somehow (spooky)

But I have a theory that the 8cide Hotel is unethical within their practices and that's why Samuel Kennedy wants to look into the business and grey hair dude (housekeeping supervisor) and yellow vested dude (Records specialists) know something we the views don't, and I think grey hair dude is hat man because I simply don't like him.

Anyway head hurt, sleep deprived, nothing make sense from me.

Damn, I should be working right now, but... eh... yeah, duh...

First of all, amazing animation as always! I really like colours and overall vibe of this one 🧡
Secondly, I just can't do not talk about details and theories.

As I can see, Hotel staff members seems to share "I just do my job" view ("Follow every rule", "We can't protect everyone", "Write down everything"), which makes them somewhat distant from Hotel guests. With exception in Lilith, who seems to care a lot about people ("Anything can be healed"). However, I can be wrong, and it will turned out that all staff members are just coping with all things going on, and Lilith is no different from them ("Anything can be healed" --> "All wounds are temporary" --> "You will forget your trauma anyway" --> "Shit happens, just cope").
I find interesting, that four characters in video are divided in two groups. One is mr. J and Lilith and another is record manager and housekeeper (like, why would Afton show two specific characters on gray background with question signs?). I can suggest that RM and HKS don't know everything about Hotel (unlike J and Lilith who seems to know more), and that's why they are questioning something.

Want to talk about guests opinion on Hotel. "Skeptical/Critical" are Sam and Benjamin (first one is obvious, second one... I dunno, honestly, I think I should look up in Instagram for information). "Openminded" are Helena, Roxanne, Bobby and one of sponsors (first three are depressed/su1c1dal, as we can see in "Gokuraku" animation, so of course they seek for help, sponsor is interesting case, maybe he is really want to help people even though he's government person himself). I'm more interested in unnamed category, where we can see mr. Whale and Matthew (it's him, right?). It's stated that some people are especially looking for alternative for traditional hospitals. Can it be connected to a fact, that Matthew is probably schizophrenic ("sculptures talk with him" thing) and mr. Whale have a tendency to dissociate as a symptom of his PTSD? (I made up this weird ass theory once after rewatching "Do you blame yourself?" and "8cide hotel" animations, where mr. Whale was a bit disconnected from reality (first video) and was naked underwater for some reason (second video), which looked like a strange dream of his). So, in their case, they probably want to recover from their traumas and depression AND avoid "good old" methods of 50s psychiatry ("shock therapy", lobotomy etc.).

Also, does second sponsor, Fitzherbert, disappeared from people's sight after he (I guess so) attacked Bobby in his apartment? Or there is another reason?
And does windows thing forshadow an order of characters dying as plot goes? Can't wait to see all wnswers in future comic 💚

P.S. I'm too fixated on 8cide hotel now, duh. James J. jr. is a daddy material btw. And sorry for broken grammar.
