Drones: Precision Weed Management

Dick Camilleri is a sugar cane farmer in the Tully Murray catchment area in the Wet Tropics of North Queensland. In an effort to reduce herbicide rates he undertook a project to trial the use of drones to target and manage weeds where it is needed.

This trial was part of the Australian Government's Reef Programme that was delivered in the Wet Tropics by Terrain NRM.
