I’m a Lions fan but defend the cheesehead in this case. If a fan were to jump on the field, they would be kicked out and probably arrested. Opposing players should be kept out of the stands. Look what Ron Artest did.

The fan is in the right. An opposing team's player doing the Lambeau Leap is non-consensual contact with the fans. When it's a Packer, it is of course customary and known that a Packer will do it, so fans sitting in those seats implicitly consent to such contact.

In Mixon’s defense, he was attempting the leap to the sole Texans fan in that sea of green and yellow.

He saw a Texans super fan (that also may have paid good money for those seats), pointed to him, and tried to have a connection with him (a clearly loyal fan).

Just playing devil’s advocate here, and I’m curious if that changes anyone’s thoughts on how this played out.

Hearing about this ("a Packers fan pushed Mixon twice when he was trying to complete a TD celebration") and seeing it are two different things entirely, damn.
