The diaphragms on a chest x-ray are usually curved with sharp costophrenic angles. When blunting of these costophrenic angles is seen, it is suggestive of effusions.

The hazy infiltrates are noted in both inner lung zones and retrocardiac area. The heart is normal in Size and configuration. The costophrenic Dulci, both hemidiaphrams and bony thorax are intact. Can you explain?

Moderate left pleural effusion is seen with collapse of underlying lung parenchyma, s/o infective etiology. (IN BOLD LETTERS)

Rest of the Lung fields are clear
Both hila are normal in size
The cardiac Shadow is normal

Sir, I have gone to take medical to go abroad..When they take chest x-ray they found a problem and now I am having 2 tablets.They wrote it " Left apical." .Can you plz tell me what is it and is it curable.
